Three Gustavus athletic teams traveled internationally to experience other cultures, perform service projects, and compete in several games.
The women’s volleyball team worked with school children by teaching them English then played volleyball after school.
The women’s basketball team traveled to Italy and Switzerland and is pictured at St. Paul’s Basilica.
The men’s basketball team traveled to Costa Rica and spent time at a children’s shelter where they worked with severely underprivileged youth in impoverished housing areas.
